Gerard pera, 1st Spanish Long Driver
Spain’s No.1 golf course, PGA Catalunya Resort, has teamed up with Gerard Pera, the first Spaniard to ever compete in the World Long Drive Championship, to bring the premier event in power golf to the two-time Spanish Open venue.
Spanish first in history to participate in the World Championship and second European rookie of the year (season 2011). Currently number 15th in the world.
As a build up for the big day, Gerard Pera, current world number 15 and RE/MAX WLDC European rookie of the year 2011, will be holding a demonstration with members of the press at PGA Catalunya Resort on June 19, 2012, offering tips on how to drive the ball as far as possible to have the best chance of winning on the day.
